Back in 2008, Chris Brown and Rihanna were all anyone was talking about. They were the “it” couple of Hollywood and were all over the news and in headlines. But things came crashing down in 2009 when TMZ released horrific photos of Rihanna, who had reportedly been physically abused by Chris Brown. He ended up pleading guilty and was charged with felony assault. He was given five years probation, as well as six months of community labor. He even said that he felt like a monster because of everything that happened with Rihanna.
Johnny Depp or Amber Heard
Depending on who believes which side of the story, you may have heard that Johnny Depp is guilty of abusive behavior towards Amber Heard — or the other way around. Both have accused each other of being abusive towards the other at different times during their marriage. They were engaged in 2014, and then later married. Only nine months later, Heard asked for a restraining order against Depp. There has been video and photo footage of both parties doing supposedly horrific things to each other, so it is hard to know who is really telling the truth.
Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey has been in some tough relationships. Her marriage to Tommy Mottola was so abusive, according to reports, that she had to request permission to leave home. She then went on to marry Nick Cannon, which was supposed to be a good relationship. But after their divorce, it seemed that she began treating all her romantic partners horribly. With her fiance James Packer, she reportedly threw his laptop out of a window because he was listening to Beyonce.
Brad Pitt
There are many reports that Brad Pitt is not the easiest man to date. Several of his past partners have gone south, and many report that he is the common denominator in why things went wrong. He was in a whole romantic triangle with Jennifer Anniston and Angelina Jolie in the early 2000’s, which seems to have had some overlap between his involvement with the two. Jennifer Anniston told Vanity Fair during that time that he has “a sensitivity chip that’s missing.” He then had a terrible custody battle with Jolie after they spit, with Pitt saying that his substance abuse was to blame. “I can’t remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn’t boozing or had a spliff, or something. Something,” he said.
Calvin Harris
Another celeb that is supposedly not the best guy to date, especially if he is creatively involved with his partner. He did not part ways in the most respectful way with former partner Rita Ora.
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber has been known for not being the sweetest boyfriend on earth, especially with his former girlfriend Selena Gomez. While Selena was battling through her journey with lupus, Justin did not seem to be the supportive boyfriend that she could have needed at the time.
